-Are they the same as non-dyed jellybean parrots?

-When do they get some color?

-Ive got a jelly bean parrot to and what color do they get ?(its non-dyed)

-And a blood parrots fertile ?

Thanks!!!:)

Hi there. Congrats on the Blood parrot.

I know blood parrots will grow much bigger then a jellybean parrot and they usally start changing color at around 3 inches.... but some take longer then others.. most blood parrots become a vibrant orange color some are cream orange and other may become yellow or the rare purple...which is actually a deep orange red color. lol. Most blood parrots are fertile. I have 7 and some will have eggs but the males are sterile.

I hope that answers some of your questions. :)

Welcome to the boards. Michelle answered the questions pretty well.

Enjoy your blood parrot! I have 3 and I love the personalities they have. They can also get more beautiful fins and colors the older they get!

They are not the same as non-dyed jellybean parrots. Jellybeans are usually white and smaller, blood parrots are bigger and are orange/red.. He/she should start to get some colour at about 4”. Male blood parrots are usually infertile but females are usually fertile. Jellybean parrots are fertile.

There is a difference between blood parrots and jellybean parrots. I think you know that though but jellybeans usually stay white while blood parrots get orange or red. But they can breed.
