just picked him up, for the most amazing price...he's around 4in. has some really nice colors, even black. digital cam doesn't do him any justice...

thanks...can anyone tell me if the stripes will go away with age? this is my first flowerhorn, i've always wanted one, but my lfs charges an arm and leg for them. he keeps getting in fights with my 5in. p.bass.

The black stripes are stress bars they should go away when your FH gets comfortable in his new surroundings.

how do you tell the differences between flowerhorns? at my lfs they had this "red synchronized" flowerhorn. they had two. one was totally grey. and one was totally red. both ****ing aggressive. and both a 100. why are they so expensive?
