no they stay like this. fairly new strain. often called titanium or thai silk pretty cool guys.

Thai silk, you can get them for a hundy if you know where too look. Chanacrossbreeds had these, and may still have them.

I have heard the same thing. Never seen one make it more than a couple months stateside.

My female is doing fine.She was 4.5 inches when she arrived and now shes 5 inches.Ive seen a 5 to 6 inch male for sale on aquabid.He looked nice and had a little kok as well.I'll try to get the pics of him from the seller.Mine is eating like a pig and has already layed eggs but i had her by herself. Ive heard of others having a hard time getting theirs to eat .Others getting sick and hiding all the time.
Thank goodness my girl is a pig and is too busy trying to breed to want to hide from us.

I too have heard the same thing... To bad to cause they are sweet looking. Id love to see one full grown.
