New bogwood arrangement before and after

So We had about 10-12 different random but cool pieces of bog wood just laying around in our tank and my boyfriend and I finally got the motivation to haul them out and make something. We screwed it all together using rust proof screws (brass is what I think my boyfriend said they were) and made a cool tree/root looking thing! I posted some before and after pictures so tell me what you think!

Just goes to show...we looked for a giant cool piece of bog wood for ever! And then we thought "hey, why don't we just make our own!" Just have to be a little creative and do a lot of moving around the pieces like a puzzle.

Oh and notice the fish are all huddled in the corner hehe. They were like what in the world is this big thing in our tank!

It's 250 gallons. It is very tall! (A little over 3ft!) My boyfriend built the stand for it before we got the tank. And he built it 3ft tall not realizing just how tall the tank was. So now it stands 6ft all together. And in an apartment with 7 1/2ft ceilings it's really hard to work on the darn thing lol. And trying to maneuver a large net to catch the fish out when we moved was a real challenge.
