New Brachyplatystoma juruense

Came back down with a juruense. It's about 8-9 inches and was fed on feeders. My objective is to get it on massivore. I was wondering for those who kept jurense personally, how hard is to convert these onto pellets?

Thanks for the link. They seem to be fairly tricky and hard to get off live. I will try to stay persistent with the pellets.

Thank you! I've always wanted one too and they're much more affordable than tigs. One day I will have a tig haha.

I've had mine almost a year and it still doesn't eat pellets. It is quite fond of fillets though.

Well I got curious and dumped some trout in and sure enough, the juruense went for it. Now he goes crazy for trout lol. He chased the silver dollar who took his trout meat. At least he's off live.

Thanks alot Addison. If it was at Jojo's in Sac then I'm positive it's the same one. They said they haven't brought in any new stock for 3-4 weeks lol. If you bought it then I would've probably came home with an endli and weeksii only haha.

Pics of the Juruense after its trout meal. One of the main reasons I threw trout in was because it was hungry. It went for my weeksii's head.
