I just took the plunge into the breeding hobby by selling my previous stock and picking up some sem-rare african cichlids: 11 Tropheus Duboisi, 6 Phenochilus Tanzania(2m, 4f)& 7 Pseudotropheus Polit(2m, 5f). I have the following aquarium setups for the previously mentioned cichlids in the respective order 125, 110, 72. I also have smaller tanks (20, 10, 10, 5) for fry "grow-out" tanks. Right now I have one Polit female who has been holding for almost 2 weeks. My main questions are...
-Has anyone successfully bred any of the previously mentioned fish?
-If so, what size were they mature enough to breed (for the tanzanians and tropheus)?
-Should I stick with feeding all of my cichlids vegetarian flakes?
-Is there anything I can do that will induce spawning besides water changes?

Can't help you with your question, but that rock-stacking in the bowfront scares me.

I would also have to say the same with the bowfront I would take it out silicone it together let it dry and then put it in.

I looked at your site and then looked at the pictures and then looked at fish for sale.

Only advice I would offer is two fold. Don't show people your home set ups as that makes your site look cheaper and for me destroys the professional aspect by screaming basement breeder.

Secondly I would advise finding a supplier where you can bring in fish and then resell them. People don't need to know that you did not breed them and you will make more money faster than trying to breed your own.

Some pics of the fish hatchery I am picking up in the late summer

I would pull the home tank pics and get yourself a couple of banks of 10-20g and use them for growing out fish you bring in.

Wht does the big thing below it do?

One thing I would like to add is your heaters should be set slanted or completly sideways not straight up and down.

Checked out the site and have a couple suggestions some have already been mentioned. First off I wouldn't show your set up or even say what you have all the customer needs to know and see are the fish that are either for sale or going to be for sale. Also seeing how you have only been in the hobby for 1 year I would not mention that. I'm not saying you don't know what your doing but a lot of people will not want to buy fish from you if they see you have only been in the hobby for one year. Also I would not mention how long you have been setup seeing how your just getting started. Also don't mentioned that your doing this out of your basement again people don't need to know that. Lots of time people want to buy fish form very experienced breeders who have been doing it forever. If this really kicks off later down the road saying how long you have been in business might be a good idea.

Last think I would like to mention is I would get rid of the music not saying its bad but it could annoy some people.
