New soon to be bad *** fish. It hid for a week at the store till I finally said fck it and bought anyways. I made a great purchase because its a changed fish in its new 125. Swims all over and allready eating after only 20 mins in the tank. I love the color. These pics do this fish no justice.:WHOA:

Thanks... The fish fits in well considering one of its tankmates is a FH 3 times its size. They all swim together (at the moment) and seem to be friendly to eachother.

it looks like one of those "super red" devils sold in Petland Discounts. they're brighter in color, longer in body shape with superb elongated fins.

I believe it's one of those far East hybrids and very possibly fed hormones to attain the colors and finnage.

Really? I bought this as a Midas from a reputable place near Pittsburgh. Actually was told they had this fish for a week and all it diid was hide so like I said earlier I left it there. Few days later went back and was then told it killed 3 Midas that looked just like it so I bought it figuring it could hold its own in my tank... and it can.:D What are the defining features of Midas and Red Devil?
