There's a 3 second delay between hitting the shutter button and the pic actually being taken. Looks like I'll have to open the manual and figure the settings out. Trying to shoot the irr sharks with this delay is like trying to scotchtape ice. The effort is futile.

The higher resolution of this new cam also means it can pick up the dirty glass better. Guess I'll be cleaning glass most of tomorrow evening. These pics of the gilled lungfish (Protopterus amphibius) and the red bay snook (Petenia splendida) would have been OK if the glas would have been clean.

lol i hate the shutter speed timings. digital cameras are great, but for capturing fish in tanks is impossible for me. there are a hundred and one things to edit and i havent had the time (or put in the effort) to learn. something on my to do list though

I dig those O's, but the irr sharks are revolting :)

your pics are better though. Try as wide an aperture as you can and a fast shutter speed.

The cam is a Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-N1.

The Af Aro got so ticked off after about 20 attempts to get a decent pic that he sequestered himself into the poly cave. I've never seen him go in there before. I'm sure if aros had middle fingers, he would have presented me with both of his.
