new cam + new pix

i was so tired of cellphone pix, so got myself a new canon g9, though not good enough, but i'm practicing with it, i want to buy a dslr later when my photo skill get better :nilly:gimme some advise??:naughty:

too many air bubbles and too much oxygen in my tank:ROFL:

Try turning off the air pumps or filters to loose the air bubbles.As I don't use a flash and rely on the camera settings only , I move the lights to the front of the tank when taking pics.this makes the background come out black(with out using photoshop) and it also bounces the light of the front of the fish giving a more realistic colour to the fish.I also turn off all other lights in the house so the cam can focus on the subject better.
