color comes once they get some size, a few have faded but need to get around 2 inches for it to be the norm
hoping to get some barred guys out actually
 
Taking pictures of fish is hard. Easy if you have all the eqipment. Its a lot easier these days with digital cameras. It sucked when we used film. take 32 pics, run out of film, take them in, pay 20 bucks, then have maybe 1 or 2 good pics. Do you have an external flash? If you do put it on top of the tank facing down. Turn off all other lights in the room except the tank your taking the pictures of. OH, and ALWAYS clean the front of the tank otherwise the camera can focus on the water spots on the glass and it looks like s*&^.

i agree. i use a canon 60D and i nver captured "amazing" pics of my fish. do u use a flash stand to take the pics or u let somebody else hold the flash? and yeah, tht water markings on the tank is very2 annoying. lol
