New camera = new pics

I got myself a sexy new camera today so thought I would show you some pictures I took while trying to get the hang of it. Its a canon EOS 400D if anyone has any pointers of how to take the perfect pic let me know. Anyway here is what I have got so far.
This is my hardest fish to phot its really hard to get a good shot.

You have a good start-
I use the same camera......You useing the kit lense? or something different...

Certainly looks like you have the lighting to take good pics with...
Photography-on-the.net is an excellent canon site...Same with the sister site here(although the name escapes me right now)...

i have the same camera and its got tons of feathers. just read up on how to use it, change shutter speed, iso, f-stop, leetc. i would recommend one of the books they have at borders or barnes and noble.
