New cat.....

We got in this tiny little catfish at the shop and it was going to be too pricey to sell so I took it home at cost.....

Apparently it is a Jau..... or Zungaro zungaro..... It must be practicly a new born as it is maybe 1.5" long right now.... It is just amazing what that little thing is going to grow into. Pics soon....

My collegue Tom, had a jau at like 3" and got it to 12" In a year, not the fastest growers but certainly steady enough.

I currently have an 1100 gallon pond for the kitties when they grow a bit. He might be a good reason to build a larger covered pond in the future....
