I wouldn't say that 33" is their maximum adult size, but yes, they do stay generally smaller than rtc's and tsn's.

Verry true what I shuld have said is avarage captive kept adult size. But still they do get bigger that is a fact.

Is that a pim in the photo? do you have a better resolution pix.

i have not seen a pim over 33" yet... mine is shy of 80cm (32")

Yes, but I do not have a better resolution pic. Google jundia as that is the native name for them. Just because you haven't seen one that large doesn't mean they don't get that big. Yours is probably fairly young still.

chill dude. i never claimed that mine is max size. he is two years or so. google jundia http://www.acuteangling.com/Catfish/catfish-jundia.html it appears to be Leiarius marmoratus which according to planet catfish is same as Leiarius Longibardis. So it is marble pim or ankara cat

Errr both sites put the size of this fish at around 30".
