inspired be Necrocanis and a few others, and with a rapidly growing tsn I decided to build a pond in my basement. the pond will be a 8 by 10 rectangle with a water height of 3 feet.
my first question is, should i build it out on cinder blocks or wood.
the next question is what should I seal the pond with, and my last question is does the size seem or for my catfish.

thanks in advance

First of all, you can build it out of cinder blocks and just put in a pond liner. Second of all that size is perfect for a large catfish.

I think a quality pond liner will run you $300+ anywhere in that size range. Given the alternative of fiberglassing/pond armoring/sanitred-ing, it's very cheap and easy.

That said you can buy firestone pond liner for around $0.60 per square foot, but in a box shaped indoor pond like yours I'd want one cut to shape and seamed already.
