Brought 6 of these little guys home today. They are getting settled into the 180 g and almost immediately started munching snails and posturing for each other. They devoured a block of blood worms and are now exploring......

About 2 1/2 inches rt now.

Thanks! You know the type of day when you finally get fish that you've admired for years? When it's no chore to get up on a Saturday at 0500 to drive to the airport? When your so exited that you open the shipping box with your car keys?

That was my day:)

Day 2: Breakfast of bloodworms and they nibbled a bit on some NLS pellet.

The original tank inhabitants (6 white clouds) are currently bagged awaiting another tank being ready for them (currently at high temps / salt or ich treatment brought in by new livebearers.....uggh). The channa were chasing them, and at this size I was concerned they would choke. They like to hang around outside this bag hoping for a snack.....

They really seems to like the cork tube (have to get a few more) and the almond leaves.

Apologies for the flash.

They are my first foray into snakeheads. Honestly I could sit and watch them all day as they explore and interaact.

Now I'm looking to convert my 75 g to a planted tank for dwarf channa....
