Looks similar to Channa Pardalis. Aquarists or at least some lfs in my country said Channa Pardalis is the True Blue channa. I'm no expert, just saying.

Yes channa sp. true blue got described scientifically as channa pardalis, Marcus

True blue is actually Channa Bipul
Meghalaya Leopard is Channa Pardalis

It's great that they finally have names. The trade names were so ambiguous
Have you tried identifying them pardalis and bipuli, that is much more worse.

I have just given up, I just call em stewarti complex. :D

i Kept Bipul for almost 10 years. I think the difference between bipul and pardalis is very obvious once you've kept or seen them for long enough.

I will admit though, when Pardalis was first introduced into the hobby i thought for sure it was also Channa Bipul haha
