I had this tank setup for a rescued Tilapia b. With the arrival of the 150-Gallon, he has moved to a much larger space, so I had an empty tank and about 15 Platinum Blushing Angelfish from a different tank that were being picked on my their tank-mates. So I moved them to this tank, and began the month long process of tying to spiff it up a bit.
This was the start after having added the Angels:

Sand was soon added with some live plants from another tank:

The tank sat like that ^ until yesterday, Christmas morning.
With the surprise arrival of some new Cichlids and a few Swordtail Guppies from a good friend of mine, it was time to make a few changes.
New Pickups
5x Geophagus brasiliensis (One pair, three juvies)
8x Lepidiolamprologus hecqui
6x Pure Strain German Blue Swordtail Guppies
and x6 Juvie Green Severums
The Geo's and shell dwellers are definitely a personal favorite. I've always wanted to give them a try, but never did. The Geo's are showing beautiful coloring; maybe I'll see some fry in the near future from the pair.
Anyway, I added them to the Angel tank, plus a few other things, and I think that it looks pretty good for now. Simple, yet elegant.

And here are a few shots of the tank inhabitants, as well as a Lepidiolamprologus hecqui. (I'll have to get more shots of them later)

And sure, things will be moved around once they get larger, etc. But for now, everything seems to be fine.
