!!
So I`m off to the US to pick up a new home for my boys. It is an acrylic 96x30x24 so right at 300G. The tank is eurobraced and plumbed with two internal overflows as well as a closed loop.

The tank was used as a reef setup so there is some coraline that needs to be cleaned off the back but overall it is in great shape with only a few scratches near the sand line.

This will probably be an interim home as we will be upgraing our home in the net 2 years. New home will have a basement an dedicated fish room and the dream tank is 10x4x3.

Should have it up and running in about 4 weeks. Pics to follow when I get it home!!

awesome. can't wait for the pix.

Sounds like fun, GL with it! I agree about the 10 x 4 x 3. I want one that size really bad, but theres no way to even get it in my house lol. All my doors are only 31" so any tank or stand with a dimension bigger than 30" wont fit. My new tank / stand is 96 x 36 x 30 and it is just barely gonna squeeze in here on its back.

Thanks guys.

My doors are the same so this is the biggest tank coming into the current pad without taking the door frames off. We will likely be be building our next house and if not we will build the tank in the basement ,prabably a plywood in wall deal.

Nice, can't wait for the pics..

ha, i've been wanting a 10x4x3 for some time now, too. I am going to have to have the acrylic sheets cut for me and assemble them where the tank will go.

So I brought the tank home on the 1st but left for Cuba on the second so no time to update the post. It's in my kitchen right now and these pics are from the seller but they are better than anything I could have taken in the kitchen.

The tank is in great shape. The coraline algae should come off pretty easily, I'm able to flake it off with my hand. There are minimal scratches so I probably won't bother with any buffing.

The back and one side (was previuosly an in wall) is painted black. Full .5" eurobracing on the top.

The plumbing is a bit overkill and awkward as it was set up for an in-wall reef. To be honest I need to figure out out to tie into the overflows and returns properly. I'm going to paint the plumbing at the top black and I will be hanging a black 6' Current USA PC fixture above the tank. With the lights off in the room and on in the tank it should look dope.

There is also a 1.5" closed loop that I will likely use to polish and sterilize water.

Here are some pics, let me know what you think!!
