just bought 5 new cichla today...apparently they are wild imports from brazil and thats all i know.. quite unusual markings... 4 out of the five have 5 perfect spots outlined with gold evenly spaced along their flanks... they also have a few gold spots in the rear part of the dorsal fin... any i.d help would be appreciated! i will try and get a few pics in the next few days once they have settled! thanks in advance..

that was my first thought too.. just wondered about the locality really? they were labelled just as cichla occellaris.. but that could mean anything... i've seen temensis labelled as occellaris in the uk!! i've kept monos before from a similar size but they didn't have the five spots or the golden etching around the spots.. i also have 4 orinos growing on as well which are starting to look fantastic! i've just ordered a 500 gallon tank to house them in!
