hey everybody, glad to be on this site! I am on my first cichlid tank...i've had several tropical tanks of beginner fish (neons, gouramis, etc) but decided to step up to bigger fish.

currently have a blood red parrot cichlid, electric yellow lab cichlid, as well as a baby green terror cichlid...in a 25g tank with great filtration.

i know that i'll need a bigger tank (thinking 55g) as the fish get older, but im just waiting on them to grow up.

I hope to learn a lot from you all!

Thanks!

my first/main mission is to get a definitive answer:

what's the best way to color up a green terror?

i have a young one, maybe 3", who is just not starting to get red tipped fins and irredescent green/blue stripes around its mouth. The majority of its color is a dark/dull green and isnt very attractive.

I'm currently feeding my fish Omega One products...the Color Enhancing tropical pellets as well as the Mysis Shrimp. I just began mixing in their Kelp Pellets in the diet for more diverse vitamins and Sporillum (sp?).

will it's color come over time?
