For the third time now, I today caught my hybrid pair of Midas-Flowerhorn (F) and Red Texas- Flowerhorn (M). playing catch with a 14" long submersible heater. About 5 weeks ago they realized they could remove the rubber holdfasts easily, and now (if 3 times counts) it appears to have evolved into a game where the Male grabs the lower end, brings it al the way up to top of the tank, lets it go, and the female catches it. I know this sounds absurd, but they've done it. The same male is the most compulsive digger and architect of any fish I have ever seen. Anybody else ever see anything like this? I'll try to get a picture but its hard to tell when they are going to do it. They are both about 8 1/2 inches long and have bred 4 times.

i'm from the Edmonton,Alberta area and was wondering if someone could hook me up with a contact to purchase some GEOPHAGUS TAPAJOS ORANGE/RED HEAD.
i've tried big als,spencer jack and many others.When i talked to spencerjack he said these fish breed very easy and there should be lots around but he can't get them because of temporary restriction of imported fish from Brasil.So if someone knows of an importer or breeder that specializes in GEOPHAGUS TAPAJOS message me.
