New Cichlids from Gage

Just got some new fish from Gage at cichlidconnections. 2 of each species. I'm sure you guys know what the dovii are but are they nicaraguan or costa rican? I figured nicaraguan should be blue? They were bought as a male and female nicaraguan.. so excited for them to grow out!

You wouldn't be able to tell locality at that size. Just give them a few months and the blue coloring will come in. Nice pickup.

I think the op was just asking for clearafication, from anyone with experiance raising nicaraguan Dovii from a small size as he wasn't sure. A a vlid question, not acusatory or argumentavive. No debate.

exactly, thanks for clearing that up. it's my first pair of dovii. also those smaller fish are gorillus blues.

My Nic Dovii started showing a ton of blue in the fins at 2".

I took two crappy iphone shots without the lights on since they are still settling in. I think it's the same ones for $17. They looked exactly the same in the bag as the first pictures though.
