So I finally bought my first two fish for my tank after alot of thought and changing my mind. I brought home today a sajica and rainbow cichlid. I want to ad maybe two more smaller cichlids I am thinking uaru and.... Idk. Btw this is for my 75 filtration is turning the tank over about 11 times an hour.

I will see what I can do about pictures tonight after work but I only have the internet on my phone so I will have to figure that out and I'm not a huge fan of acara...

I don't know what a rainbow cichlid is, but how about a kribensis? I just bought a Geophagus jurupari that I really like (horse face cichlid) and seems to stay smallish.

uaru are definitely not small cichlids and they actually like to be kept in schools so i wouldn't suggest that, you could maybe do a JD if you want something larger, you just have to find a milder specimen or for smaller ones a firemouth would fit nicely into that mic you already have

So far you've got Central Americans, so maybe find a few more peaceful-type CAs to go with these. Uaru are definitely out -- they prefer to be in groups, usually of 4 or more, and they get large at 8 - 10". Way too much for a 75g tank.

Rainbow cichlids are Herotilapia multispinosa and they are usually pretty mild. Mine live with some small Laetacara and they don't bother them. I've not had personal experience with sajica but I assume they have similar personality.

Sorry probably no pictures tonight I got off work really late. But what do you all think about a nicaraguan cichlid? Also they had this fish called the incan stone cichlid??? Anyone know that fish at all?

The nicaraguan cichlid aka Nic cichlids can get big. I have seen them get to be 7-8" They are really pretty and not too aggressive yet I have heard of some being jerks. It depends on the fish.

I like the Idea of a firemouth with the fish you have. That would work OR the Thorichthys Elliotti they are a lot like the Firemouth but with more shiny color if that makes sence.

I may do the thorickthys elliotti actually. What do you guys think about salvini? Too aggressive? Btw my little sajica is a curious guy I turned the lights on when I got home and he has been popping in and out of the caves looking at me. The two seem ok together right now but I want to get some dithers in there before they may start picking.
