He was a bit thin when I got him from the lfs. He's fattening up real nicely and feeding well on medium pellets. He's a bit too small and fragile for my 125g for now so in the mean time he's growing out in one of my girlfriend's tanks. Then to the 125g when he's at a safe size, then to a 360g when I finally move and get that tank up.

cute little fella. mine's at about 18 inches now, got him when he was about 10 inches 6 months ago.

Awesome. That's a pretty fast growth rate. I can't wait for this guy to get bigger and for me to be able to move him into the 125g.

I have one and struggled with internal parasites for a long time...then one day it was over and he just started growing like crazy. Now I just need to get him on pellets. Mine is probably about 6" or so.

I love this fish...hope to see you, myself, and more people house them properly for life.
