new clown knife

Hey everyone. First post and a few questions. My son picked out a 6" clown knife at the
Lfs i didnt know anything about them until we got home and i did some research. Wow! He's a way cool fish right now he's in a 36 gallon with 3 silver dollars. I was just given a 300 gallon aquarium. My question is about filtration. I've never had a tank this big and was hoping to get some advice. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to MFK ☺ The Clown knife will eventually outgrow the 300 but I would suggest a large sump, or canister filters or both and weekly wc's will be fine.

100 gallons or more for flexibility.
