Just got a 2" clown pleco today. I was wondering what L# he is and how big clown pleco's get. I am new to pleco's as this is my first one. Oh and I also got 3 oto's for my 30 gal. community tank. They are so tiny, I hope my angelfish doesn't eat them lol.

they get around 5 inches in length , they require driftwood and like veggies such as cucumber zucchuni , etc. sci name is Panaque maccus and its L162
5"...hmm I was hoping that he would get a little bigger...o well he has really nice color on his stripes and I like him 
. One more question how big do Golden Nugget's get, and how big do the Green phantoms get? Ive also heard the latter are somewhat agressive is this true?

Would this fish be able to live in my tank for life?
The standard clown pleco is L104, and only attains a size of 2" SL.cornbread_5;1464961;1464961 said:
Gold nuggets generally get to be 5.5" SL, but grow very slowly, or not at all once in an aquarium. L200s both get to be approximately 8-9" SL. There are people that claim larger, but I have yet to see an L200 beyond 7" SL.
