Alright, this is my last attempt at these guys. My last 3" baby was a bad shipment. When I took his poor little dead body back to the lfs, the rest of them in the tank were dead too.
So when I saw two lonely little csc's in another lfs I decided to give it one more try. If these guys don't make it, I was not meant to have columbians.
So here they are, meet Cletus and Enos

those will not match with rams, the water types are just to different.

ya they get a weird skin disorder when they get bigger, just keep a higher salinity , try not to use freshwater aqarium salt, it forces a brine enviornment . use the salt water stuff. has trace minerals for there skin. but you are way off from that point right now, that is when they become tank busters . you can have many happy years with them in a freshwater enviornment

Very nice! I had to resist some the other day. They were so shiny!

Blurock has learned alot about her little cats over the past month or so... She'll be fine ;) but it never hurts to give her some encouragement as the last couple didn't turn out so well... Keep up on your research :D
Thanks Bass, theses guys seem to be staying a lot happier, and have already grown noticeably. They are a lot less neurotic then my last two as well. I think they enjoy being in a pair, they always swim around together... I think I may have figured out the secret;)

And to everyone else, thank you for the input. I have done a TON of research on these guys, and I am fully aware of the brackish/marine tendencies, there is some salt in the tank right now, and they have been very happy. They are growing up right now so they can go in with my Oscars and not get eaten before I get them into a brackish set up.
Oh, and the Ram is just there temp buddy, as the ram wasn't happy where he was, and once I get my bigger tank set up, everyone is going to be where they should be.
I research all the fish I have, they are my babies and I do everything I can to keep them happy.

Congrats on the wonderful tank addition! :D They're great little fish [maybe I shouldn't say "little"...]

Haha, Thanks
well mine are still little. 2.75" almost 3"!!!
