i am getting a 120 gal for $50...i just have to build a stand and change the top brace(witch it comes with)...it is drilled already and good to go...i will be do a salt tank with this one...moving the 20gal contents to this tank...now it has a dims of 4'x2'x2'...would that be good for a clown trigger for life?

not for life but for many years to come. No offense but most will kill triggers before they reach 7 inches.

i am not offended as i am not most;)...what would be a good 'life' tank for a clown trigger?

+1...the canuckster and I are pretty much always on the same page. Some of the larger triggers are like macaws...people buy them not realizing the commitment, how long they live ect. Triggers are great pets...had a niger for years...but they definitely deserve some attention. Also when they get larger are best suited as "specimen" tank fish.

i will be keeping mine for their lives...if they end up getting roudy with there tankmates i will set up a smaller setup/ different set up for the others...on a side note i plan to get a scarlet macaw as well, not sure if i will adopt one or get a young bird...as i will have that animal for its life aswell...i am a supporter of the fact that everyone should reasurch their fishes before they buy them and not 'oh i got this fish, now what?'...though i have made some impulse buys before and still do, those impulse buy are of fish that i have started to look up info on and just don't have all the facts yet...

When it comes to fish theres no such thing as an "impulse buy", they are just fish that you had forgotten you planned to get. - Thats what I always used to tell my dad when he saw me setting up yet ANOTHER aquarium in our house when I was younger. :D
