Not at all. We have various mixed contests for MFK, Facebook and Instagram members. All are welcome to join all contests, just meet the minimum requirements, which honestly aren’t that difficult to meet. We are thankful to all our members across the Internet, whether it be the actual site, or any other form of social media.

Hardly. The efforts spearheaded by Gr8KarmaSF in our social media platform is THE reason we still have a forum in which to discuss these things. The forum died before this program was implemented.

Please have a little faith in the fact that we actually want the forum to succeed. The purpose of these events is to try to bring people here, and it has worked quite well. Now, after nearly five years of using social media to bring the forum back, we're acknowledging our unique social media community as well.

No.

We have separate, thriving communities administered by the same group of people as the forum on both Facebook and Instagram. Members of the forum proper who choose not to participate in those forms of media have no presence there. Your participation- and the presence of your data- is entirely for you to decide.

In the modern day and age, the FB and IG presence is the life support that keeps the forum alive.

Aside from bumping this thread, thank you Rob! At present between Facebook and Instagram there are about 100K people there, so social media is an undeniable gateway into this site! Contest almost done btw!
