New Convict Tank

I used to have river rocks in this tank and after couple of months I have basically switched to bare bottom because there was so much crap under the rocks that I simply could not clean, it was horrible! After I switched to bare bottom, the tank started to re-cycle! I introduced two more filters and did 70-85% water changes twice a week for two weeks, then cut down to 70% once a week.. and now back to doing 30-40% a week.

Things seem back to normal so I started adding decor to the tank. Put sand, PVC, and some rocks... and bought a new light for the tank. Just waiting for sand to settle.

Its a 30 gallon with three Convicts.

I have that Convict pair for two years now and they keep breeding.. well... all the time! I take them to my regular LFS and they will usually give me some fish food or cheap fish in return. The albino one is actually one of their fry that I kept.

I have sand in my front tank and it always seems cloudy. It makes me nuts.
