OK...so I just got a new Coral Cat pup on Friday. He did eat alittle squid today which is always a good thing when getting a new shark. But all he/she does is hide in the rock caves I built. Is it normal to be hiding for this long? The only way I got it to eat was by moving the rock. But it did take the squid as soon as I put it by its nose. I guess I'm just frustrated cause I want to see it more! lol

totally normal. how long was the squid in the water before you moved the rock to put it in front of the shark? they can smell the squid very well and you dont usually have to disturb them to feed.
coral cats are nocturnal, and will emerge after dark to prowl the tank. they are actually pretty active once the lights go out. just give your fish time to settle.

Yeah, I feed mine about 20 or 30 mins after the tank light goes off for the night. They feed right away every time. Make sure you give them a consistant light cycle, and you'll quickly see them coming out at the same time once it's dark.
