I took out all the rocks in the coral tank and built racks. Just finished it last night. Here are a few pictures.

how much weight do you think those can support?

i was considering to this as a base structure if i ever do a big SW tank.. and just lay LR over that

Not sure. I will put it to the test though. I just set up a 55 gallon tank for live rock. I cut the egg crate to cover the entire bottom and them poured sand on top of it. The egg crate will help stable the weight evenly.
