I think it's an awesome fish and a great start. How big of a tank do you plan to put him in?
Starting him in a 55. Eventually will be in a 125. Do you think it’s a male or female or too young to tell?
He's too young. Best to sex at 5-6" mark. A 125 will be a good home for a male but a female will do well in a 75-90 . ?
When I picked him out he was with a bunch of spawn and was on the smaller side. Does that increase his chances of being male or female?
Chances of being a female but time will tell, maybe it was not getting enough food when with its siblings.
I'm not good when it comes to sexing them, but I think a 125 will be perfect for them.
