New Crenicichla Johanna

I had seen these guys at my LFS, an havent had one in years. So I grabbed one, they were all about 2" an very active. Hes already decimated close to 12 ghost shrimp that I put in the tank yesterday, an a few feeder guppies.

from what peanut told me upwards around 12-16" if Im lucky.

ya the owner of the place i got him from was telling me that he was keeping away from the more aggressive fish, cause they tend to kill tankmates an lose him money. the trio that were there are the first ive seen in awhile to (apart from the sickly looking ones at petco an petsmart that pop up).

sweet, i think the last one I had got to about 6" before he was killed by a alligator gar. I remember feeding him a betta once, funny sight to see all the long fins hanging out its mouth.
