Indonesian datnoid, Datnioides microlepis, from Sumatra. The presence of three tail stripes and a middle bar that crosses the ventral surface are characteristics of D. microlepis. D. pulcher, widebars, typically have only two tail stripes and a middle bar that sweeps backwards and comes to a point at or before the ventral surface. Also, among D. microlepis, those from Sumatra tend to have three body bars like D. pulcher, whereas those from Borneo typically have four thin body bars. Regardless, a nice acquisition!
