New Dehelzi! W/Pic

I got a new Dehelzi to add to my collection hoping to get some ornates pretty soon. My bad for the bad shot its with my phone but any advice with keeping would be nice

Nice little del there bud,if you have other bichirs then just look after him the same,other than he won't need as big a tank as Ornates and lower jaws etc then your good to go.
Any specifics just ask,hth.

alright thanks but how do i get them to come up to eat instead of market shrimp,worms,and frozen foods?

What do mean get him to come up to eat? To the surface of the water?
I've never had much luck with that for bichirs. Just use sinking foods.

I think he wants them to do surface feeding. Just slowly switch their diet. Add lesser sinking food and more floating pellets each day. They will eventually come up to the surface to munch.
