So i've officially gotten the "discus bug", traded away all of my central americans and converted my 125 to a barebottom discus home. I currently have 2 discus setups, im around 20 fish between the 2 tanks, he are some shots of the 125 and its inhabitants. 90% of the fish in this tank are from Josie at Chicagodiscus.

Moving bed filter.

Youtube it. Some people swear by it, others think its junk. I just dont like how cheap it looks in my tank.

it's K1 Kaldnes, i'm new to it, however the results are amazing. I could talk for hours about the way it works, but lets just say it does a good job and never has to be cleaned =P
