It was going nutty for the food but from what I've seen they're constantly on the move anyways.

Not smelt, it was a silverside. He puts down 2 or 3 big ones a day its crazy. Hes bout 5-6" and i forgot how much a I paid for him, it was from SA.

Yeh its great cuz he never stays still but when i lift the lid he just circles around the top waitin for food and will bite mostly anything touching the surface..

I got myself two recently, they really do grow very quickly, more so than any Snakehead I've had. Mine which I bought at about 3" just over a month ago, now one is 6" and the other 5", incredible growth. I can now just see teeth appearing.

I have now had to separate them as they constantly attack each other, scales flying everywhere. My plan is to set up an 8' x 3' x 3' Amazon setup, but I am not sure I am going to be able to keep them together.

I haven't had issues with compatibility with other fish yet although the others are larger.

The tanks a 30 gallon so its deff temporary, later on if I decide not to upgrade then youll see him for sale lol..
