Just picked up the stand and the 75 that is on top and my old 55 on bottom plus switched to sand substrate. Not 100% finished yet.

Looks good so far.....I found a double stand at a flea market but it's not long enough to hold 48 inch tanks. What's that blue stuff hanging in the bottom tank?

The blue stuff is the old gravel I had in the 55. Using it to help finish the cycle.

Nice tanks...and it could be me, but it looks like on the bottom of your stand its curving from all that weight...I would hate for that iron stand to give out on ya so just thought I'd point it out

Clownknife I think I see what you pointed out.I didn't notice it before but it could be distortion from the camera angle? These stands are built to be able to hold the weight of two tanks....unless this one is compromised in some way.

Its kinda like an optical illusion....lol The stand in person is not bowed the tank on the bottom has supports under it that can not be seen in the pic.
My rug and the angle of the pic may make it look like that as well.

Oh, lol...what fish are in your 75g? Gouramis?

Why did you place supports underneath?

I have one Gourami, 8 Giant Danios 2 small danios, 1 angel, 1 pleco, and 2 Geos, and 3 rainbows.
