I got a new dovii and I'm 99% sure it's female but I've never had a female dovii like her she seems way way more gold and colorful then past females I had I think she's very nice though and she gets along with her tank mates very good so I'm really happy with her ImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1359410421.528113.jpg

nice girl, looks similar to mine... i actually think females are prettier than males.

I might wrong but nic females of the yellow variant are yellow like that. I have a male yellow nic and he looks like that but has the male spots and blue.

I'd like to set her up on blind date. Been looking for a female to breed mine with. BTW very nice female you have there.

Very nice! How big do these normally grow in captivity? And what size of an aquarium would they need? I would love to get one, it's whether or not I actually CAN house one.

You can house one in a 125 at the absolute minimum for life. A 180 or anything with a 6 X 2 footprint at minimum for a pair. You can get away with a 100 or 75 footprint for a female. Basically the bigger the better.

Nice female! they are all yellow both nic and costa.. And I would say a 180 is min for a SOLO Dovii Male. They are nuts, anything less you risk it being injured.
