New dovii

I was wondering if you can help me sex my new dovii, I was told its a mix of gold male and blue female. Total length 5". I believe it to a male under stress I purchased for $18 locally at my LFS.

Would agree with male, due to the spotting under the lateral line. Definitely post up some more pics once he's settled in and gets normal coloring back.
