i went to the river before it snowed to find a new piece of drift wood for the 300 g.
i ended up using two pieces that i screwed together with stainless steal screws. i also drilled out some rocks to screw to it to try and weigh it down.
i had nothing big enough to soak it in so i cleaned the wood and poured boiling water over them in the tub.
the rocks a added were not nearly enough to hold it down had to stick a couple lager ones on it.
fist pic shows one screw hole and a piece of stone on the back side
second is the other screw hole
third one from the front with my 30g tank stand in the background
fourth from the back
and in the tank, every tank shot i got there is a orange blob shooting around (midevil)

Looks very good in the tank. I was looking at the pictures of it on the floor kinda puzzled, thinking it was looking like some sort of contraption. Seeing it in the tank brought it together. Very nice work. It fits your tank perfectly.
