New EBJD

So I picked up two EBJD about two weeks ago. They seemed to be in pretty rough shape when I got them, but have since been doing much better. I was wondering if anyone else thinks their tailfins look funny? It seems like there should be more to it. Open to any opinions. Thanks!

The tail fins do look a bit narrow, and they look like they may develop a "beak" as they grow. But, the color on these two are very nice. You'll just have to wait to see what's going to happen. Good pick up, in any case.

Nice color to your fish there! Yeah I have one that has the same sort of tail going on. Glad to hear they are doing well. Lol I got 8 last week and i'm down to 6, so I'm still going through a rough patch with this newest batch here. Good luck with your fish!

I raised some ebjds awhile ago. Idk if it's genetics, but their tailfins were much wider. But, it doesn't mean it doesn't look good. Always did love ebjds

Thanks for the replies! I really hope the tail fills out a little more but it is what it is I guess.
