I just got my eheim 2075 today from amazon. I started it up and it was awesome. for a couple minutes. then the flow stopped and it started making the cavitation noise. i shut it off and opened it up. the red and white parts of the float braket fell out but not the little black part. I called eheim but they closed 4 minutes before I called. I don't really want to spend 3 days waiting to be able to call them and since I bought it off amazon I can't just run to a store. Does anybody have any idea what could have happened or how I could at least get it un-stuck? it no longer turns on. It had maybe 6 minutes run time. I really have no idea what happened.

well i got it out. the ball valve that controls the flow in is broken and won't open up. I don't get exactly what happened. I hope I can get a free replacement. anyone know of a retailer near the twin cities in MN who would have the part?
