"New" Ehiem Classic Question

Do the new Ehiem Classic 2217 and 2215 come with the media baskets? I've seen ad's for the 2213 that have the baskets but not the others.

I have owned a few of the OLD style Classics and none of them had a media basket. I am particularly intrested in getting a new 2217.

**when I say new I am refering to one that is bought today as the design has'nt changed in eons.**

i dont have baskets either...but i have like these "dividers" that came with mine...

They don't come with baskets. They do have two little plastic "dividers"- one goes in the bottom, and holds the media about 1.5" above the bottom, to leave a spot for debris to settle. The other goes in the top & keeps crud from ending up in the impeller. That's all. That's a big part of what makes the filter so efficient- no bypass!
