Hi all I know it is early days I picked up a red wolf fish on saturday it is about 4 inches long I put it in a 240 lt 4 foot tank on its own the tank is very heavily planted with loads of floating plants as well . I had it in 21 lt tank for about 1 hour while I set up some hiding places .I did put a piece of krill in there which it ignored until I dropped it right in front of it nose it then ate it. In the 240 lt tank I have only seen it once, yesterday left some krill in the tank over night but it didn't take the krill is it still too early as it has been only 2 days in the tank. I previously had a common wolf fish and also had a purple sp which I regret selling they were pigs from day one and the tanks they were in were not as well planted as this .Is it too early to be worried as it is only 2 days in its new surroundings.

I got mine at a similar size a few years ago, he was nervous at first, but now is out cruising in the community and feeds well, and defends his cave with gusto!
Well came home from work to find the red wolf fish dead in the tank so lasted 2 days gutted as they don't but they sold me a golden wolf fish so will have to do some shuffling around and put the golden wolf fish in one of my 300 LT tanks as a solo specimen. Deep down I knew something wasn't right it looked very skinny even for a juvenile wolf fish.
