New feeder guppies for breeding have swollen gills. ?

Is it more likely to be bacterial or parasitic? I've already Prazi-Pro'd them as a standard precaution. Should I hit them with an antibiotic as well?

I just brought them home and noticed the magical extra female that I didn't net or pay for with the giant, chunky gills. Since they are all from the same tank, I'll dose everyone. They are in a 10g quarantine for now.

It's been a few hours and they seem stable. The one with the biggest gills looks like that rare prehistoric frilled shark in that video that's been circulating. She wobbles when she swims. Should I just euthanize this one or start throwing antibiotics at it?

i would wait a few more days and keep adding meds but if there is no change then euthanize her

Thank you, sikoko. That's what I'll probably do. I'll wait a day or two first to be sure it wasn't just ammonia burn.
