NEW FEMALE FADER

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
well if you know the fish's parentage, and the parentage doesnt make it kamfa, then isnt that quite a definative point?

The fish that is defined as a 'kamfa' is shown to have very strong paraneetroplus/vieja blood and shows many of the viejas characteristics. this will be shown in a stockier more square like body, and the list goes on.
personally i would not call this kamfa.

BUT

you can acheive an early stage kamfa with a KKP/BP which is very much so in your fish's ancestry back two generations.

my point is

your fish could well have the exact genetic makeup of a kamfa, but without the visual displays you cannot call it kamfa.
its similar to breeding a midas with a syn, and calling all of the offspring blood parrots, but it doesnt work like that.

none the less it looks like a nice fish
