new female for my male

hey all, I just picked up this female this morning for my male.she slipped through the divider and they have been getting along,no fighting whatsoever. what should I do from here and should I keep the divider up?thanks all

Just keep a close watch over them and have the divider ready if fighting does start.

For a flowerhorn to die it will take longer than a day. I'm sure the female can handle herself. Let them mingle and if you see damages on any of the fish separate them and keep them separate until your ready to breed.

You've obviously never bred FH lol. The males can be very vicious and can kill a female fairly quick. A close eye is always needed when breeding them.

Not true, IME I have seen old bull fh shred females in a matter of 30 mins. Just long enough to mix the perfect Mojito and come back to a destroyed female...

yeah I agree guys, males or females can kill each other rather quickly. This male is passive aggressive so I think they should be alright but ill keep an eye on them.the females tube dropped halfway over night as well.hopefully they do the good good lol
