philly
ok so sadly a few days ago my female retic died of internal parasites :( she wasnt too healthy when i got her at monster pets in south philly :( not a great place. today i was driving down 7th street in south philly and found the place own by a really nice man called giant aquarium. it had some of the best looking rays iv ever seen in a pet store he also has hundreds of flower horns and a huge 5x13 foot tank in the back with some giant fish in it not sure on the bred if ur in philly check them out its amazing. but back to the ray i picked up a female they were calling a common ray for 59$ im not to positive on what she is she loks like a less spotted lighter retic but now sure but she looks very healthy. here is a pic but its not a great shot due to i only have a camera phone.

ps. the tank was treated with prazi pro and metro and no other fish look like they have health problems. also did a few large water changes and ran carbon to remove the meds.

i think she could be a Potamotygon Constellata but im not to sure she does not have the spikes and seems a little darker could it be a cross breed?

not really finding much info on them...good note tho she ate blood worms while in the acclimation process i drip acclimated her for an hour and she ate

SP peru.... also better said as a un IDed ray from peru.... also called false yepezi

yes what he said. that is why the store called it a common ray. hope it grows out to be a beauty for you

awesome im excited she is almost twice the size of my reticulated male do u think that may be a problem? a kinda scary note i came home tnite and notice my two oscar's that i have had for years and were never violent towards the rays or anything else have just laid eggs and seem to have gotten very aggressive so im gona hafta setup a new tank for the oscar pair.
